Senior Business Development Manager

Karachi, Pakistan

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our business growth initiatives, expand our client base, and build strategic partnerships. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT services and software industry, with a focus on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in international markets. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with frequent international travel to meet clients, attend conferences, and represent Shispare globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with mid-to-large enterprises and startups.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Promote Shispare’s capabilities in AI-driven solutions, software development, and digital transformation services.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential opportunities in AI and other emerging technologies. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and RFP responses. 
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms. 
  • Track, analyze, and report business development performance metrics to senior management. 
  • Represent Shispare at conferences, networking events, and industry forums — including international travel as required. 
  • Mentor and guide junior business development team members to build a high-performing team.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the IT services/software industry.
  • Understanding of AI applications, trends, and their potential impact on businesses.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience working with global clients and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for client meetings and events 
  • International sales & travel experience is desired. 

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI/ML solutions, SaaS products, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong network in the technology industry.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce)
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
