We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Laravel expertise and a solid background in building scalable web applications. Experience with Node.js is preferred. In this role, you will lead development tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to improving our backend services.
Responsibilities
- Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications across portal and premium service platforms.

Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate closely with the UX team to enhance user experience.

Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript components are valid, optimized, and consistent across all applications.
- Prepare, maintain, and update applications using standard development tools and best practices. Master demos of our software
- Work with backend data services and contribute to improving and expanding existing data service APIs.
- Lead the full web application development lifecycle from concept and development to delivery and post launch support.
- Communicate effectively regarding task progress, evaluations, schedules, recommendations, and technical or process-related issues.
- Document development processes, architecture and standard components clearly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with co-developers and keep the project manager informed about development status, serving as the technical liaison between teams.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in web development.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in PHP/Laravel development
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong experience with the Laravel Framework and object-oriented PHP concepts.
- Exposure to Node.js is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of SQL schema design, REST API design and SOLID principles.
- Experience with software testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, PHPSpec, or Behat.
- Strong skills in MySQL profiling and query optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative, detail-oriented and efficient at solving complex problems.
