The Senior Medical Billing Services Sales Representative is responsible for generating new revenue by selling outsourced medical billing and related services to hospitals, physician groups, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
The role focuses on promoting a comprehensive solution that includes full-service billing and coding, insurance verification, credentialing, and next-day payment on submitted claims, driving measurable improvements in provider cash flow and administrative efficiency
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new client accounts for medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management services within an assigned territory.
- Conduct structured discovery to understand a prospect’s current billing processes, payer mix, denial rates, and cash-flow challenges, and design tailored service proposals.
- Articulate the value of next-day payments on claims and related services (insurance verification, credentialing, and coding accuracy) to financial and clinical stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and RFP responses to practice administrators, CFOs, CEOs, and physician owners.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract language within defined company parameters and obtain timely execution of service agreements.
- Maintain an active, accurately forecasted pipeline in the CRM, documenting all prospect interactions, next steps, and probability to close.
- Collaborate with operations, implementation, and client success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, accurate setup, and a positive handoff experience.
- Provide regular feedback from the field regarding competitor offerings, pricing trends, and customer requirements.
- Achieve or exceed defined KPIs, including number of new opportunities created, proposals delivered, and closed-won revenue.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars as needed.
Must Have

3–5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, healthcare technology, or healthcare services.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets in a B2B healthcare sales role.
- Working knowledge of medical billing fundamentals, including patient registration, charge capture, coding (CPT/ICD), claim submission, denials management, and reimbursement cycles.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes, provider credentialing, and payer enrollment.
- Strong proficiency using CRM software to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation.
- Ability to travel to client sites, conferences, and internal meetings as required.
