Sr. Operations Manager

We are on the lookout for a Sr. Operations Manager with a strong technical background to lead and streamline core operational functions related to software delivery, client support, technical partnerships, and internal team coordination. 

This is a high-impact role suited for an engineer-turned-operator who understands the pulse of a growing tech company and can balance execution with strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and improve daily operational workflows related to software development, product delivery, support, and cross-company collaborations. 
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to ensure smooth execution of projects, high service levels, and resource optimization.
  • Monitor and manage operational KPIs tied to project timelines, quality, team velocity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan and implement scalable operational processes for technical delivery and support functions.
  • Drive collaboration initiatives with partner companies and external stakeholders to expand our service capabilities and offerings.
  • Support and align sales and marketing operations (as needed) with delivery and support teams to ensure a seamless pre- to post-sales experience. 
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or technical dependencies and lead initiatives to improve turnaround time and delivery quality. 
  • Contribute to organizational planning, including resourcing, prioritization, and execution frameworks aligned with business growth. 
  • Champion a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning, and process ownership. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent business training will be preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in technical operations, engineering management, or software delivery, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of project management, agile delivery frameworks, resource planning, and customer support processes. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for strategic decision-making. 
  • Experience collaborating across departments such as product, engineering, QA, customer success, and (optionally) sales/marketing.  
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A bias for action and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
